Lois Lerner's Obsession with Prayers

The IRS' Lois Lerner, the "I plead the 5th - though I've done no wrong" manager of Tax Exemption Audits who's division badgered only conservative 501(c) (4) organizations leading up to the presidential election of 2012 apparently has a long history of harassment of people who like to pray.

When she worked for the Federal Election Commission for 15 years she wanted to know what this pray thing is all about.....

Q: (reading from a letter from Oliver North to Pat Robertson) “‘Betsy and I thank you for your kind regards and prayers.’ The next paragraph is, ‘Please give our love to Dede and I hope to see you in the near future.’ Who is Dede?”

A: “That is Mrs. Robertson.”

Q: “What did you mean in paragraph 2, about thanking -you and your wife thanking Pat Robertson for kind regards?”

A: “Last time I checked in America, prayers were still legal. I am sure that Pat had said he was praying for my family and me in some correspondence or phone call.”

Q: “Would that be something that Pat Robertson was doing for you?”

A: “I hope a lot of people were praying for me, Holly.”

Q: “But you knew that Pat Robertson was?”

A: “Well, apparently at that time I was reflecting something that Pat had either, as I said, had told me or conveyed to me in some fashion, and it is my habit to thank people for things like that.”

Q: “During the time that you knew Pat Robertson, was it your impression that he had - he was praying for you?”

O: “I object. There is no allegation that praying creates a violation of the Federal Election Campaign Act and there is no such allegation in the complaint. This is completely irrelevant and intrusive on the religious beliefs of this witness.”

Lois Lerner is refusing to testify because she has a closet full of skeletons that are begging to get out.  And I suspect it relates not only to the recent IRS scandal.

I'm Back and Here's Why

Haven't posted since last fall before the election. Was sure that when the truth about the Obama administration's total lack of concern for our ambassador to Libya and the others who were killed was revealed there simply could not be a second term for Barack Obama. Then Candy Crowley made it all too obvious in her debate moderation of the presidential debate that the gloves were off and the main stream media was prepared to lie, cheat and steal to cover for the Obama administration's failings. She took charge of the debate and buried any effort Romney would make to have Obama take responsibility for the deaths and the pathetic aftermath. She lied as the debate moderator (!) to save the Democrats.

Obama won, voting corruption has since been revealed in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and the Benghazi fiasco, the IRS fiasco, the AP and Fox reporters monitored by the Department of Justice, and on and on have come to light.  I have felt that perhaps with the attack on journalism and the 1st amendment, even the journalists who have been made the tools of the administration would finally wake up and smell the coffee.  There is some indication that that is happening...slowly.

But what has made me sit up and take notice?  Today's events are simply the last straw. Clearly Obama has put the word out...."say not one word about the IRS or other investigations on the network nightly news of CBS, NBC and ABC. " Today, to the astonishment of all in the room, Lois Lerner director of the division of the IRS responsible for the IRS chilling auditing of solely conservative organizations - PLEADED THE FIFTH AMENDMENT and it was not even mentioned on the nightly news of these three networks.

The fix is in. and these idiots will try to cover up several of the most hideous abuses of power by any presidential administration ever - believing that people won't notice. Insane. I must do my small part to stem this insidious tide of authoritarian muffling of media. Unbelievable.

Radio Silence on Benghazi Murders

Six weeks of radio silence from the White House and the Main Stream Media.  Remember no one died in the Watergate hotel.

And Tyrone, even though you never got to hold your newborn son, he will grow up knowing the character and quality of his father, a man among men who sacrificed himself defending others. God bless America !

This is What Baffles Me about Democrat Feminists

I have a wife and two daughters and I have learned from them that women are downtrodden by men.  Mostly white, middle aged men.  I reject the argument but not in its totality.  Not all white guys, but definitely this white guy.

Joe Biden is a blowhard and was a cackling, rude boor in his debate with Paul Ryan. But what struck me without prompting from my personal slate of lefty feminists was how he was particularly rude to Martha Raddatz.  A very good journalist and a woman who has spent far more time in flak jacket at various war fronts than Biden.  His churlish and frankly misogynistic behavior was noticed by many conservative women.

Tonight, Joe Biden is embodying everything that women hate about talking with men.

He was like a drunk uncle at Thanksgiving dinner that was lecturing his 16 year old niece.  I'm sure he had to do all he could to keep from calling her "sweetie".  As I read the blog post linked here by Mollie Hemingway, Ed. I actually felt I learned a great deal about how women feel around a certain type of male.

Where for godsakes are the liberal feminists on this guy?  Is it just another John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Al Gore let the boys be chauvinist just as long as they tell us that they are on our side on abortion, situation?  It appears to be.

Frankly it smacks of a very, very hypocritical tradeoff that is frankly, creepy.

President Giant Ego

When visiting The View (instead of meeting with UN envoys or let's say some guy named Netanyahu) President said; " I understand that I'm just here as eye candy for you guys".  Say Mr. Narcissicism how about spending time instead finding out how our Ambassador to Libya and 3 other Americans were brutally murdered last week.

Main Stream Media - not a peep, move on, nothing to see here.

New York Environmentalists Explain Why Fracking is Bad

Most hilariously, the enviro-activists have demanded that state officials explore an alleged link between fracking and — we kid you not — syphilis.

They argue that a drilling boom would draw an influx of male workers from other states who would engage in activities of a kind that would spread sexually transmitted diseases.

They also contend that a boom would trigger a housing crunch, adding to homelessness and the health ailments that go along with it.

And that increased truck traffic would not only lead to more road fatalities, but would also — again, no kidding — discourage people from getting the outdoor exercise they need to stay fit.

This is absurd. If New York starts saying no to entire industries on the grounds they might trigger population changes, rising home prices and truck traffic, it might as well turn out the lights.

Well I admit I just wasn't paying enough attention to these issues.

What? But the Arctic sea ice has melted to a scary level, right? Global warming is going to flood the beaches of Florida soon, right. Not so fast, scaremongers.

Day 256 Antarctic ice is the highest ever for the date, and the eighth highest daily reading ever recorded. All seven higher readings occurred during the third week of September, 2007 – the week of the previous Arctic record minimum.  

And total Global Sea ice is up
