John Lennon was a Republican

I get such a kick out of the discoveries of various Hollywood stars as conservative/Republicans.  It always makes the lefties freak out just a little. It really is quite delicious. Adam Sandler, Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight, Gary Sinese, James Woods, Patricia Heaton.... and with the abject failure of the current Dems in the White House and Senate it appears the list is growing.

Here's a doozy. Free love and anti-establishment Beatle John Lennon was a Reagan fan in his later years and was embarrassed with his antics as a young man.

Middle America? Just a Bunch of "Low Sloping Foreheads"

From New York Times columnist David Carr on the Bill Maher show on HBO. No bias or elitism in the Main Stream Media though.

Holy Sh*t.

I Call BS on the RCP Quote from Michelle Obama

Real Clear Politics has a video from CNN that has Michelle O saying that " we have help from the media" etc..  People who pay attention believe that the Obamas certainly do have help from the media by portraying only positive things and eschewing any negative reporting about the Obama administration.  In this case however, RCPs headline is unfair.  Michelle O was talking about how the media protects the family's privacy. Knock it off RCP there's plenty of actual bias to report, there is no need to twist the First Lady's words.

From CNN:

On daughters: "Fortunately, we have help from the media. I have to say this: I am very grateful for the support and kindness that we've gotten. People have respected their privacy, and in that way, no matter what people may feel about my husband's policies or what-have-you, they care about children, and that's been good to see.

It makes you look silly and of course, biased to the right.

JL's weekly - Imagine if Bush had Said/Done This Moment

In announcing his accelerated drawdown of troops from Afghanistan President Obama wanted to announce his decision at Fort Drum , you know - to show the troops that Obama is tight with them and has their support.  The only problem is he made a very glaring mistake in confusing recent Medal of Honor winners - one alive and one dead.

Blackfive has the story. Imagine if President Bush had made an error like this, the media circus would be in high ridicule mode with much laughing and pointing.  Jon Stewart on the Daily Show would wocka-wocka this one for a week.  Instead, not a peep.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Al Gore, What a Piece of Work.

Al in his own words tells a young woman that women need to be empowered to save the planet.  How? They need to realize that too many babies ruins the planet. They need to get their contraceptive act together.  Al, who has already proven how sensitive he is to womens' issues thinks men don't have any responsibility in this too many babies thing.

Al goes on in his next clip telling us all about the terrible droughts in Arizona, Texas and Russia and about the terrible floods along the Mississippi and in Australia.  The great thing about Global Warming activists like Al is that droughts AND floods are to be blamed by CO2 and that lots of snow and no snow are the fault of CO2 and that a month with lots of tornadoes followed by a month with nearly no tornadoes....well you get the idea. But most importantly of course, this all makes Al very, very rich.

My daughter is a mega-feminist (and I'm pretty pro most of the feminist agenda myself).  She's also a global warminista and thinks Al Gore is a peoples' champion, but with this tripe above and the "sex-crazed poodle" stuff, when do you step back a bit and call an idiot an idiot?

ObamaCare Waivers Do Not Disproportionately Favor Unions

Much of the whining and kavetching about ObamaCare waivers going to unions is apparently misplaced.  Data show that unions are denied at a fairly high rate and that the denials and acceptances seem to be directly related to health plan costs.  So conservative bloggers etc - chill about this.

Jay Carney, Baghdad Bob of Washington

How do you take a job like this?  Robert Gibbs, Obama's first press secretary was such a snarky jerk that you wanted to leave a flaming bag of dog waste on his doorstep and ring the doorbell.  This new guy Jay Carney is not so snarky yet, but you can almost hear the snark bacteria making its way from Gibbsy's old letter opener onto Carney's presidential seal coffee mug.  It's coming.

Here's how Jay responded to a question at the press briefing about the debt ceiling.

And I would just remind people that the vote to raise the debt ceiling is not a vote for spending.  It is a vote to pay our debts, to pay our obligations.  And we are the largest economy in the world, the most important economy in the world, absolutely vital to the successful functioning of the financial markets.  And this is about being responsible.

Being responsible. Wow

Barack Obama, just another pol.

Rahm and Barack brought their brand of ChicagoLand pay-as-you-go politics to Washington after promising to bring hope and change.  It is the worst kind of bait and switch and the voters of all stripes took the bait hook, line and sinker.  The Obama White House is as corrupt as it gets but Barack's media protectors continue to lie about this administration.  It is truly unbelievable.

Most of the stimulus money went to pay off Barack's supporters.

More than two years after Obama took office vowing to banish “special interests” from his administration, nearly 200 of his biggest donors have landed plum government jobs and advisory posts, won federal contracts worth millions of dollars for their business interests or attended numerous elite White House meetings and social events, an investigation by iWatch News has found.
These “bundlers” raised at least $50,000 — and sometimes more than $500,000 — in campaign donations for Obama’s campaign. Many of those in the “Class of 2008” are now being asked to bundle contributions for Obama’s reelection, an effort that could cost $1 billion.

Next Investigative Task? Help WaPo, NY Times, HuffPo and the Guardian - Parse the Book of Mormon

Given that the scouring of the 24,000 pages of Sarah Palin's emails by the above named pillars of journalism has resulted in no scathing corruption, embarrassment or indictiment of the Palin family, it is time for said muckrakers to turn their attention to Mitt Romney as he has been annointed the early front runner for the Republican presidential nomination.

Please help the leftist media devour some more light reading.  The price is too high, the potential damage is too great - get your Kindles, Nooks and Ipads out and find out what devilish dogma Romney has been living by his whole life. Read every page of the Book of Mormon and get back to us. It is your duty as a US citizen to enlighten the masses with every bit of horrific right wing propaganda that you can!

And oil up those torches and sharpen up those pitchforks because if we don't take down any Republican challenge to Obama things could really get bad around here!

The Madness Continues. We Must Defeat the Monster Palin Together!

Sarah Palin holds no political office.  Sarah Palin is not running for President.  Sarah Palin did not text sexually suggestive pictures of herself to young men.  Sarah Palin is not the dictator of some Middle Eastern country that is under siege by revolutionaries. Sarah Palin is not responsible for the worst economic times our country has suffered in 80 years.  Sarah Palin is not.....well you get the point by now.

The New York Times and the Washington Post have decided that Sarah Palin's emails as Governor of Alaska are akin to the Pentagon Papers in their import to the readers of their respective boutique newspapers.  They want a FULL and THOROUGH investigation of the emails.

That's journalism today folks, emails from Sarah Palin trump probably 30 or 40 other stories that might help  to give readers insight as to why our economy sucks, our president is inept, and why we are dropping bombs illegally on Libya and Yemen.

It would be funny if it weren't so insanely pitiful. The Times and WaPo ...all the news that's fit to spit.

Update: Jon Stewart pulls back the curtain. See imbedded video above.
