Clarence Thomas went through hell in his confirmation to the United States Supreme Court. He is black and conservative. Democrats excoriated him for an unsubstantiated claim by Anita Hill that he liked to make sexually suggestive comments. We were treated to days and days of televised testimony meant to bring this man down. The lynch mob was lead and consisted solely of liberal politicians. Thomas survived these politicians and a bloodthirsty mainstream liberal media to serve as a distinguished voice for constitutionalists on the Court.
There have been other African Americans attacked by liberal politicians and media; Michael Steele, Condoleezza Rice, Cong. Allen West and many others. Liberals believe that African Americans are their voting block, in a weird shall we say, plantation owner way. When a black person doesn't adhere to the democrat party line it's open season.
Just ask Herman Cain.
But Charles Rangel and Maxine Waters, both under indictment for corruption.....nothing to see here, move along. And of course if you should be curious about these two cases...where the evidence has already been proven, you are a racist.
Skin color matters to democrats only when it serves their agenda. And thankfully more and more people of color are figuring that out.
