What's the rush on the healthcare legislation? Ohhhh...

Mid July is when an update of projected fiscal year budget numbers are ALWAYS released by the White House.  But not in this "transparent" administration.

from rightpundit.com

The White House projected revenues for 2012 are forecast at $3.1 trillion. But if growth is just 2 percent, rather than around 4 percent, as some economists now expect, that income would hover around $2.4 trillion — adding another $700 billion to the projected deficit of $581 billion.

White House putting off release of budget update

The administration’s annual midsummer budget update is sure to show higher deficits and unemployment and slower growth than projected in President Barack Obama’s budget in February and update in May, and that could complicate his efforts to get his signature health care and global-warming proposals through Congress.

The release of the update - usually scheduled for mid-July - has been put off until the middle of next month, giving rise to speculation the White House is delaying the bad news at least until Congress leaves town on its August 7 summer recess.

This means ram that Health Care bill through NOW before the public realizes we're up to our derrieres in debt and the Obamaconomy has been an utter disaster.

Imagine the demands the media would be making for release of this information if Bush were president. They would report and editorialize (rightly) that It is a scandal... a violation of the public's right to know... a crippling of Congress's ability to weigh fiscal facts in its consideration of the health care legislation. Instead, the media is guilty of complicity by remaining essentially silent. Thank goodness we have Jourtegrity Lost to keep us informed.
