Congressman Rangel has been under ethics investigations for a year or more. In the past year he spent $978,000 on lawyers. How does a guy who makes $174,000 a year in salary do that?

Haven't seen much about this on CBS, NBC, ABC and the major newspapers. Have you? I did hear alot about that "wacky" Republican Governor from Alaska and the philandering Republican Governor from South Carolina though.
Oh, and the Senate's newest solon, comic Democrat Al Franken, has kept us all in stitches with his wit at the Sotomayor hearings.
