I guess we can take the polar bears off the endangered list

Turns out the whole arctic ice melt hysteria was a little premature. Of course the number of polar bears is greater now than it was at the beginning of the 20th century which we've known for some time.

Rapid growth spurt leaves amount of ice at levels seen 29 years ago.

But as we also know a picture of a polar bear on an ice floe can go a long way towards getting Al Gore's speaking fees increased.
