Yup, stock portfolios went down, but they'll be back, just don't panic. And we found out that our car industry and financial industry are suffering, on a similar scale to the rest of the globe, BUT there are indeed good things to come out of last year and Radley Balko points out a few . Oh, and the US military has handed over the Green zone and Presidential palace to the Iraqis. No small feat for both sides.

Thanks for the encouraging news. The article you suggest was very interesting. Once Obama is sworn in, the MSM will report more of these trends -- giving credit, of course, to the Era of Obama.
